Welcome to my first blog post, I guess it’s this is the point where I’ll tell you the goals and what I hope to achieve with this blog. I’ll be Frank, it’s all about me! Also I suppose just to keep everybody entertained I’ll try to do a post about every week. Now, onward to the first post…
Here it is the last day of March, which means it’s going to start getting warm out. Most people would be excited about this, but I’m a bastard and will miss the snow. Have you ever seen a Bloodhound use his back as a sled to reach the bottom of a hill? Well let me tell you, it’s one of the many pleasers of being a Bloodhound! Then again I’m sure with warmer weather that means more trips to the dog park, which means more car rides with the windows down for maximum floppage.
March was a busy month for me with weekend trips to the grandparent’s house. My human Taylor (who thinks he owns me) and his girlfriend Kt though it was appropriate to take a few trips away from me, once to St Louis, then to Manhattan, and last to Omaha. I would usually complain, but getting out in the country where the grandparents live, running wild, and playing with Jake and Cooper is always a treat for this over excited Bloodhound. March also saw the loss of room privileges for me. When Taylor leaves for work, to make money and feed me with, he used to leave me in his room. After I decided that his North Face day pack, and Native sunglasses looked better in pieces, he banished me from being in there alone.
Last Monday was a terrible day in my book. Not only did Taylor and Kt take me to the Vet, but they also fixed the hole in the fence that I was able to get out and explore the neighborhood with. On the positive side the Vet told me I was a healthy 97.3lbs, I didn’t have heartworms, and I got all my shots for the year. I have been working on the “hole” situation though, I’ll keep everybody posted once I find another way out of the backyard.
The word on the street is that I might be moving here in the near but distant but future. I’m really not excited to give up my large backyard, but on the positive side I’ll be living with my best friend Kimo! Living with Kimo means that Kt is going to be moving in with Taylor and I, I can’t say I overly excited about this, because it takes away from attention that I usually receive, but on the bright side she is able to feed me! You see what I did there? I took a situation that I was looking at with the water bowl half empty, and changed it to half full. ….
That’s about all I have for this installment, I’ll leave you with this picture of Kimo and Me, Taylor and Kt say it’s “cute” but all I have to say is it was a great disturbance……
